ABOUT TALC GLOBAL
A generic ITAD vendor treats a mass spectrometer like a laptop. We don't.
TALC GLOBAL was founded because the standard ITAD playbook — pickup, wipe, shred, done — breaks the moment it meets a biotech lab, a hyperscale data hall, or a 40-building property portfolio. Each of those has its own risk profile and its own definition of "value recovered." We built separate playbooks for each, run through one certified process, so you get a partner fluent in your specific equipment and your specific stakeholders — not a generic recycler with a lab brochure bolted on.

Compliance that survives an audit
A certificate that says "R2v3 compliant" means little to an auditor without asset-level backup. We keep serial-number-level records — pickup date, destruction method, downstream recycler — for every unit, so when a regulator, an investor, or your own compliance team asks for proof months later, it's a document pull, not a scramble.
Handling that matches the hardware
Decontaminating a lab instrument, de-racking a live server hall, and destroying a pre-release prototype under NDA are three different disciplines with three different failure modes. We staff and route each job accordingly instead of running every asset through the same generic teardown line.
Transparent, asset-level economics
Most disposition vendors hand you a single number at the end. We hand you a line-item statement — what each asset sold for, what it cost to recycle, and what that nets out to — so finance can reconcile it the same way they would any other vendor invoice.
One program, every location
Whether you're coordinating one lab shutdown or standing up recurring pickups across forty buildings, you work with the same process, the same reporting format, and the same point of contact — nothing gets reinvented site by site.
Our team combines backgrounds in enterprise IT operations, laboratory logistics, and environmental compliance — which is why we're equally comfortable walking into a wet lab and a data hall, and why clients tend to hand us the equipment other vendors won't quote.
Our Story
From sensitive analytical laboratory machinery to high-density data centers, our team brings specialized engineering knowledge, rigorous compliance frameworks, and white-glove logistics to every project.
Core Pillars That Drive Us
Specialized High-Tech Handling
We specialize in delicate scientific laboratory equipment, test and measurement hardware, semiconductor tools, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Turnkey Execution
Your team has core business priorities to focus on. We handle everything from on-site facility auditing and heavy rigging to de-installation, secure transport, and final processing.
Auditable Chain of Custody
Serial-number tracking from your loading dock to final disposition.
Sustainable E-Waste Recycling
Responsible disposition of obsolete, broken, or end-of-life electronics that have no secondary market value.
Is our data actually secure during the process?
Every device is tracked from pickup to final disposition. Data is sanitized to NIST 800-88 standards or physically destroyed, and you receive a certificate of destruction for every asset — not a blanket statement.
What happens to equipment you can't resell?
It's broken down and routed to certified downstream recyclers for material recovery. Nothing is landfilled or exported outside regulated channels.
Do you handle hazardous lab materials?
Yes — our lab disposition service includes decontamination protocols for instruments that have been in contact with biological, chemical, or radiological materials.
What's the minimum volume for a pickup?
There isn't a hard minimum, but pricing and logistics are most efficient above roughly 20 units or a single large system. Contact us for a quote either way.
Do you provide certificates and reporting?
Every project ends with an asset-level report: what was resold, what was recycled, certificates of destruction, and a sustainability summary you can use in your own reporting.
Can you handle prototype or pre-release hardware under NDA?
Yes — high-tech and hardware clients route unreleased or failed units through NDA-covered intake, with full debranding before anything touches a resale channel and certified destruction for anything that can't be debranded.
Can you decommission a live data center without downtime?
Yes — de-racking and on-site sanitization are sequenced in phases (often overnight) around your live environment, with per-rack tracking so nothing gets pulled out of order.
We manage multiple properties — can this run as one contract?
Yes — property management clients typically run a single standing pickup schedule and one consolidated compliance/ESG report across every building in the portfolio, rather than a separate vendor per site.
