This policy explains how TALC Global handles information through talcglobal.com, its account access pages, website analytics, and third-party services.

How information and choices are handled.

Information you provide
When you create or use an account, TALC may receive your name, email address, credentials, and account-related activity. When you contact TALC by email, TALC receives the content and attachments you choose to send. When you submit the Contact form at talcglobal.com/contact, TALC receives and stores your company name, contact email, equipment selection, estimated volume and notes to review and respond to your inquiry. TALC sends the inquiry to its sales inbox using Postmark and to its internal Telegram notification group. If another page opens an email draft, that draft is sent only when you send it from your email application. When you submit a partnership inquiry, TALC receives the contact details and message you provide so it can review and respond to your request. Partnership inquiries are submitted through the website and stored in TALC’s inquiry records.

Authentication storage
The Client Portal uses an HttpOnly session cookie for account access. Internal staff sign-in stores an authentication token and a limited account record in your browser’s localStorage under talc-auth-token and talc-auth-user. Signing out ends the Client Portal session or removes the internal staff authentication values, as applicable. Do not use a shared device for account access unless you can protect and clear the browser profile.

Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in on an account access page, Google provides the authentication result and basic account information needed to complete sign-in. Google’s identity script is loaded on account access pages where Google sign-in is available. Google processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Analytics choices
On public pages, Google Analytics 4 loads in a limited, cookieless mode before you make a choice and when you select Continue without analytics cookies. In this mode, analytics_storage is denied: Google Analytics does not read or write analytics cookies but sends measurement and consent pings to Google. These requests may include page paths and titles, referring page paths, timestamps, browser information, consent state, and a per-page random number; Google also receives your IP address as part of the network connection. Cookieless does not mean that no information is sent to Google. TALC removes URL query strings and fragments from the page locations and referrers it supplies to Analytics and does not send contact-form fields or account records. If you select Allow analytics cookies, analytics_storage is granted and Google Analytics may use _ga and related _ga_* cookies for fuller measurement of visits. Advertising storage, advertising user data, personalization, and Google advertising signals remain disabled in both modes. Analytics is not loaded on /portal, /internal, or /mailops pages. You can change your choice at any time through Privacy choices; withdrawing cookie consent returns Analytics to cookieless mode and attempts to remove existing analytics cookies. It does not stop cookieless measurement or delete previously collected data. Google processes information under its own privacy practices.

Functional consent cookie
After you make a choice, the website stores talc_privacy_consent as a Secure, SameSite preference cookie for up to 180 days so the apex domain, www site, and relocation site can remember whether analytics cookies were allowed or declined. This functional preference cookie is separate from Google Analytics cookies. If the browser cannot store the preference, cookieless measurement remains the default on the next visit and the choice notice may appear again.

Maps and external links
The Contact Us and Service Area pages load interactive Google Maps automatically when you open those pages. When a map loads, Google may receive your IP address, browser information, and map request. External links, including Open in Google Maps, are governed by the destination provider’s practices.

Technical records and purposes
Web servers, hosting systems, security tools, and API services may create operational logs such as IP address, request time, requested path, user agent, response status, and security events. TALC uses information to operate accounts, respond to requests, maintain security, troubleshoot services, understand website use through cookieless measurement and, when allowed, analytics cookies, and meet applicable obligations.

Service providers and retention
TALC uses infrastructure, authentication, analytics, mapping, and email providers where needed to operate the website. The public Contact form loads Google reCAPTCHA for spam prevention and verifies its token on TALC’s server before accepting an inquiry. Google may receive technical browser and interaction information needed for this verification. Contact inquiries are sent through Postmark and to TALC’s internal Telegram notification group. The separate partnership form may also use Google reCAPTCHA when enabled. Providers receive information only as required for their function and process it under their own terms and TALC’s arrangements with them. TALC retains information according to operational, security, contractual, and legal needs; retention varies by record type rather than following one universal website period.

Security and your choices
TALC uses administrative and technical measures intended to protect website and account information, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure. You may decline analytics cookies while cookieless measurement continues, change that choice later, avoid opening pages with interactive maps, sign out to end your TALC account session, or contact TALC about access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you, subject to applicable law and record-keeping requirements.

Contact, children, and updates
The website is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. For privacy questions or requests, email sales@talcglobal.com with enough detail for TALC to understand and verify the request. TALC may update this policy when website practices or legal requirements change; the Last updated date identifies the current version.
